Acadiana Profile is the longest-living independent magazine in Louisiana
history and one of the longest-running regional magazines in America.
Founded in 1968 by Bob and Geraldine Angers, Acadiana Profile is a general-interest
regional magazine based in Lafayette and circulating primarily in the 22-parish area of south
Louisiana known as Acadiana, or Cajun Country. The magazine is published six times a year.
