BRYAN G. SIBLEY, M.D., is a pediatrician who practices in Lafayette, Louisiana, and a Certified Lay Minister in the Louisiana Conference of the United Methodist Church.

The 2013-17 president of the Louisiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he devotes much of his practice to the care of children with special healthcare needs. He is a clinical instructor at the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and past Chief of Pediatrics at Lafayette General Medical Center.

His medical training and his church affiliation have taken him on a number of medical mission trips to Mexico and the jungles of Peru.

Dr. Sibley has served his church – Asbury United Methodist Church – as a lay leader, liturgist, Sunday school teacher and member of the worship and finance committees. He was named the 2016 chair of the St. Thomas More Catholic High School Strategic Planning Committee, and is a past chair of the school’s Advisory Council.

An active public speaker, he gives presentations to a wide variety of professional, civic, community and church organizations.

He is married to Shelley (nee Rosson) Sibley, and they have three children.
